Process
Interview and Research
The initial part of the project is finding out what you want to achieve and making that the guiding goal of the project. From there a strategy is created to track progress and adjust content as needed.
Research is performed to prepare the way for your web presence. How are people looking for companies in your industry, how are you ranking, and how are your competitors ranking? These are but a few of the questions answered that will help lay crucial foundations as your site is built.
Develop and Test
The development process starts with design elements presented for your review that will be the guide in the construction of your site. Copy will be generated (in tandem) and the site will be created. The creation process incorporates the best practices of today and of progressive enhancement methodology.
The site is staged, reviewed and tested to ensure accuracy, correct operation and adherence to accessibility standards.
Review and Release
Having completed testing the site is then reviewed by and and OKed for release. The staging site is then copied to the live domain and your site is open for business.
After release, if a monitoring service was purchase, I will begin to monitor the site and make recommendations on strategy changes or the site will be turned over to another to monitor. I am happy to train and work with someone in house to monitor the website.
